This is a replacement for the Sta-Rite 14936-0000 Valve. It uses 2" hose connections to secure the valve to the filter. The spread between the inlet and outlet for the filter connections is 7.81 inches.

This Jandy Slide Valve is made with an 8" center to center connection. This makes it an excellent replacement for Premier, American Products, Waterway and other backwash valves that used an 8" spread on the filter tank.
