This is a replacement drive unit for the Laing 303 line of pumps. This drive unit can be hooked up 115 or 230 Volts and can be used at 50 or 60 Hertz. The original Laing 303 circ pumps are no longer being made.

*CAUTION* The impellers for the 1212 pumps have been redesigned to a more open faced design. On older 1212 pumps with a closed face impeller, the replacement will not work. The impeller pictured here is of the older unavailable design. The 909 and the 303 still use the original closed face design shown in the drawing.

This Recirculating Pump from Laing Thermotech is commonly used in "instant hot water systems". Low flow provides minimal flow velocities thereby reducing the effect of pipe erosion and noise caused by vibration.
