This is the ozone diffusion stone for a Dimension One / Ramco ozone pump system. These threaded stones were used primarily after 1990, the older versions have a barb for the air tube.
These stones become clogged slowly over time and can back up pressure into the ozone system and can cause serious problems. These should be replaced every year or two.
